The Lore of Big Thief
PERSONAL PROJECT | 2023

This project was created in response to the article “The Lore of Big Thief” originally published by NPR. The article addresses the humble beginnings of the band where they ate popcorn in a camper van getting from show to show. 

This piece was selected for and exhibited in the 2024 Society of Illustrators student show.

GOALS

Emphasize the playful, honest, and down-to-earth qualities of the bands
music through muted colors and loose, expressive linework.
